Disappointing Products

I don't think I've ever written a blog post about disappointing products, mostly because I don't like to bring too much of a negative energy into my writing... I like to keep it positive! However, just as I like to tell everyone how great beauty products are, its also good to warn against products that really weren't the money...so here we are!

Clarins Foaming Cleanser
I went to the Clarins counter to get a gel or cream cleanser, however I was completely and quite aggressively forced into getting a foam cleanser even after reading that they are possibly the worst cleanser to get for any skin type, this cleanser was no different and make my skin feel really tight and irritated.

Lee Stafford Argan Oil Shine Spray
I bought this product to try and inject some shine into my hair that can sometimes look incredibly tired. However, it just made my hair feel incredibly greasy and heavy. I was quite annoyed to get these results after paying £10.99!!

St Tropez Gradual Tan Spray
Although this product is out of season now I thought I’d include it. I thought it would make it easier for me to apply tan and quicker too. It was quicker, but the results were awful. I was so patchy,  and I couldn't work out where I've already applied the product and where I hadn't. Resulting in some areas of my body being a deeply tanned and others being my usual pasty pale shade!

Lacome Tonique Douceur
This toner felt very aggressive on my skin, the fact that it was a blue liquid and felt and smelt (like toilet cleaner to be honest!)  very chemically seemed to just prove this theory. Definitely won’t be wasting my £22.50 again!

Loreal ‘Fit Me’ Concealer

I bought this as an alternative to my usual collection 2000 concealer, however I think I will stick with the norm next time as this consistency tends to make my skin look shiny almost as soon as it is applied. Also, even though I got the palest shade available, the shade was still incredibly orange toned, meaning I had to blend into my neck…not something I want to be doing especially in these winter months when I’m embracing my pale skin!

What are your disappointing products? Let me know in the comments!
